오전 am, 오후 pm/afternoon, 아침 morning, 정오 noon, 저녁 evening, 밤 night, 언제 when
오늘 today, 내일 tomorrow, 다음 주 next week, 올해 this year

Step 02_Grammar_Time particle "time noun+에"

The particle "에" is followed by the noun about "time" and indicates when the action or event is occurred. Its function is similar to the preposition in English but it is located after the time noun while the preposition is located before the time noun.

⠂언제 고향에 가요? 5월 10일에 가요.
⠂오늘 오후에 친구 만나요? 아니요, 내일 오전에 만나요.

Ref. The particle "에" has two functions.
1) As a place particle "에", "에" indicates the destination for moving or existing followed by place names
"장소 place+ 에 가다/오다/다니다"(refer to 회화1_2_2)
"장소 place+ 에 있다/없다 (refer to 회화1_4_1)
2) As a time particle "에", "에" indicates the time followed by time nouns.
"시간 명사 time noun+ 에"

*Notes. the time particle "에" is usually followed by the time nouns except "오늘, 내일.."
